Mineral Exploration and Geochemical Sampling Service in Western Australia
Zone51 is Western Australia's most experienced and efficient remote area mineral exploration and geochemical sampling service. We have over 25 years’ experience in quickly and safely mobilising and leading small, agile and experienced teams into the Pilbara and Kimberly regions using innovative exploration methods.
I have worked for over 25 years on most of the prospective areas in the state from East Kimberley’s to the Wheatbelt, conducting most forms of sampling. It's been my life's work to have my boots on the ground in some of the most amazing country and climate in the world. My natural affinity with the bush, and years of experience reading the ground means that I offer a unique service, working respectfully with stakeholders. Zone51 is the area of the Pilbara and West Kimberly I have worked in all my life.
I specialize in the more difficult terrains (East Pilbara and Kimberley’s) using a purpose modified Quad bike (which I started using in 1993) as it has a very low centre of gravity, 18 speed gear box and 1st gear crawler of 1km/hr (all other operators use nothing like this bike and are more dangerous for this work). This Quad will save money and time for Helicopter borne sampling as using these will eliminate some samples and therefore Helicopter time.
Zone51 operates with minimum infrastructure and maximum efficiency. This way we can offer very competitive costs compared to firms with larger overheads and deployment methods, without compromising quality or safety.
Are you looking for a team with a high work ethic and understand the importance of your sampling program?
Zone51's samples are taken by someone with years of experience in recognising and coding the geology of the sample site, providing a more comprehensive sample - so contact us today to discuss how we can work together.
I found Guy to be an honest, self-starting, reliable and competent Field Assistant initially and subsequently as a Contractor in provision of Field Logistics and Geochemical Sampling Services to my company, Geochemex Australia. Our business relationship and friendship continued for over a decade. I would not hesitate to recommend Guy for any similar role to which he believes himself suited and wish him well for the future
When I have a remote area exploration project, the first person I check with is Guy. He is a highly adept and experienced bushman able to operate safely in remote regions
